1 The paper must address contemporary and topical issues in any area of law. We also welcome case, statute and book reviews.

2 Kindly note that manuscripts should only be submitted through our website by registering and loging to your members' area or through E-mail as a Microsoft word attachment to editorinchief@pellicanedgeconsult.com.

3 If you are sendind your manuscript through email as an attachment, the names of the contributor, contact address, telephone numbers, degrees obtained, academic and professional affiliation and E-mail should be sent along with the manuscript.

4 Referencing should be by footnotes only.

5 The submission of a work by an Author implies that the work is original and not a copy of other peoples work.

6 Contributions submitted for publication remain the original work of the Author. ILR do have an Editorial policy not to review or publish a work that is under review by another journal except in special circumstances. Contributors may however seek and obtain permission for the publication of their work in ILR where such work has been published in other journals.

7 Contribution must be in English Language. We may however consider for translation and publication, work written in other international languages

8 It is the responsibility of the Editorial Board to certify for publication any work submitted for publication. If the Board is of the view that certain changes should be made, the Board may go on to make those changes but not without the knowledge of the Author

9 Authors are entitled to a free copy of the issue in which their works is published.

10 ILR shall acknowledge the receipt of contributions within 3 days of submission and the Authors shall be informed of the status of their papers within 3 weeks of receiving the contribution.

11 Copyright in each issue of ILR is vested in Pelican Edge Consult limited but contributions submitted for publication remains the original work of the Authur in whom copyright in such contribution is vested.

12 ILR is a quarterly publication, in January, April, July and October. To be considered for a particular issue, an article must be received no later than two month before the publication month.

13 Contributors should note that submission of articles to ILR does not guarantee the publication of the article.

14 Articles submitted for publication are peer reviewed.
